LUTON TOWN have allowed striker Scott Rendell to join Woking on loan for a month.
Rendell made over 45 appearances for the Hatters last season and scored one of the most important goals in the club’s history, helping them beat Premier League club Norwich City 1-0 in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup.
However, he was transfer listed in April and hasn’t featured at all for the Hatters this term.
He now has the chance to play some first-team football during his month at Kingfield and Luton boss John Still says the 26-year-old’s spell with the Cards suits all parties.
Speaking to the club’s website, Still said: “It’s a good move for Scott. He has been a model professional since I have come to the club – his attitude has been first class.
“I’m pleased we have been able to find him a suitable club to get him playing football.”
