FORMER Doncaster Rovers frontman Jordan Ball has joined FC Halifax Town on non-contract terms.
Ball, 19, started out at Nottingham Forest but was released at an early age.
He subsequently joined Doncaster Rovers’ Centre of Excellence in 2008 and worked his way through their ranks before signing a professional contract with them in April 2012.
The teenager made one senior appearance for Rovers last season and also spent time on loan with Northern Premier League Division One South side Belper Town, for whom he scored eight times in 10 games.
Ball spent pre-season with Mansfield Town but has now agreed a non-contract deal with Neil Aspin’s FC Halifax side.
