EBBSFLEET UNITED have completed the signings of Ryan Blake and Phil Walsh.
Full-back Blake made 11 appearances for the Fleet last year while on loan from Brentford and has now penned a permanent deal at Stonebridge Road.
Speaking about the 20-year-old, Fleet boss Liam Daish said: “It’s great to have Ryan back.
“He enjoyed his time here on loan and we got to see what a good young player he is. He remains very popular in the dressing room and on the terraces at Stonebridge Road.”
Walsh, 28, began his career with Almondsbury Town and went on to play for Clevedon, Taunton, Bath City, Newport County and Dorchester before joining Dagenham & Redbridge in 2009/10.
The frontman remained at Victoria Park until being released earlier this summer and has now dropped down a division to join the Fleet.
Daish commented: “I have followed Phil for a while.
“I wanted to bring in players who can handle the physicality of the Blue Square Bet Premier division and Phil fits the bill. He’s a useful player to have around as he can operate in defence as well as leading the forward line.”
