BURNLEY goalkeeper Nick Liversedge has joined Hyde on loan for a month.
Liversedge is a product of the Rotherham United centre of excellence but started his senior career at Darlington.
He spent the 2008/09 season on loan at Whitby Town before returning to Darlington and featuring 15 times for them in League Two during the 2009/10 campaign.
The stopper was released following the Quakers’ relegation that year and subsequently joined Whitby on a permanent basis.
Liversedge, 25, was snapped up by Burnley on a free transfer in May this year but is yet to feature for the Clarets’ first team.
He joins Hyde to fill in for David Carnell, who picked up a groin injury against Woking on Tuesday night.
Hyde, who are currently bottom of the Skrill Premier with two points from nine games, welcome 13th-placed Welling United to Ewen Fields tomorrow.
