SILSEDN are asking for help from the Non-League community after suffering a second break in during the space of two weeks.
The North West Counties Premier outfit reckon the damage done will cost them around £8,000, putting a huge financial burden on the club.
Luckily not much could be taken as Silsden don’t keep much stock but it’s the damage caused by the burglars which has hit the West Yorkshire side hard.
The club said: “The club can confirm that we have had two break ins in the last two weeks with damage estimated to be around £8,000 putting huge financial pressure on the Sports Bar.
“We are a community based, volunteer run club offering football, cricket, rounders and running to the local and surrounding community.
“The stolen items had such a minimal value as we keep very little stock being on the doorstep of a local supermarket. The damage caused could top £8,000
“We need funds to try and add to our security, louder alarms, Infra Red CCTV, police activation, committee activation, as much as we can to deter.
“We are asking the local and wider community to join hands and help keep our sports facility in business.
“Our “Crowd Funding Just Giving” page will be active in the next couple of days and can be found here http://crowdfunding.justgiving.com/Silsdensportsclub.”
