This was the Islanders ninth League and League Cup match without defeat and they move two points clear at the top of the table with two games in hand of second place Holt United.
Portland had a 3-0 lead at the break with their strikes coming from Lewis Whyton, Carl Mutch and an own goal from Dan Stone.
In the second period Parley Sports reduced the arrears with a goal from Kane Andrews before Carl Mutch added his second and Portland’s fourth to give his side their thirteenth League win.
