HAMWORTHY UNITED have sacked manager Simon Browne.
The club committee decided to give Browne the axe on Thursday night following the club’s 2-2 draw with Lymington Town.
It was only the third point they’ve picked up in the Wessex Premier Division since mid-September – a run that has left them 16th in the table.
Browne, who had been with the Hammers for almost four years, is succeeded by Sean Bartlett on a caretaker basis.
