SELBY TOWN and Grimsby Borough from the Northern Counties East League Division One have both been deducted three points.
Both clubs have been docked the points for fielding ineligible players. Selby beat Bottesford Town 2-0 on Saturday, October 26 but one of their players was under County FA suspension.
Borough committed the same offence, fielding a player under County FA suspension in their 5-1 victory over Rossington Main on Monday, August 26.
The deductions have pushed Selby’s total down to 40 points which sees them in ninth position. Borough, meanwhile, now have 24 points and lie 15th in the table.
