LIAM NASH scored twice in the opening half hour as FA Trophy winners Hornchurch lived up to their pre-season billing as title favourites with victory over a Horsham side who saw two efforts of their own ruled out for offside.
The 26-year-old, who can play up front or out wide, spent his formative years at Brighton and had a number of Football League loans before joining Crawley in 2015.
The 23-year-old had been the Hawks’ longest-serving player, scoring 25 goals in 99 league appearances, but has now decided to step up a level to the Isthmian Premier. He has joined the Hornets for an undisclosed fee.
