JAMES Rowe believes Chesterfield will come back stronger after suffering their first league defeat of the season – but knows performances must be better.

The 26-year-old midfielder was one of a flurry of signings at Notts along with former Manchester City and England youth captain Ed Francis, 21, and midfielder Aaron Nemame, 23, who has joined from rivals Torquay United.
The 25-year-old only joined the Spirietes last December from National North club Chester on an 18-month contract for a fee believed to be around £25,000.
Relegation from the Football League in 2017 had seen the club bottom out. Beset by off-field issues, their first two seasons in Non-League resulted in 15th and 17th placed finishes, respectively.
