Hayles has played for the likes of Millwall, Leicester City and Bristol Rovers but is probably best remembered among football fans for his spell at Fulham, where he found the net 44 times in over 200 appearances.
The 21-year-old defender, who went through the youth structure at Belgian giants Anderlecht, played in the SPL with Abderdeen for the last four years, before finishing the most recent campaign in the Championship with Wigan.
The striker’s form was a rare bright spot in what was a disappointing season for Truro City last season, with Harvey’s 22 league goals last term not enough to keep Truro at Step 2 level.
