FORMER Welling United boss Jody Brown is back in the dugout as assistant manager at Vanarama National League South outfit Concord Rangers.
The 36-year-old only lasted two months at the Wings after joining from Ryman Premier side Grays Athletic but he already has lots of managerial and coaching experience.
The ex-Heybridge Swifts boss will team up with Concord manger Adam Flanagan who himself only joined the Beachboys recently.
Brown said: “After getting sacked at Welling I did get a bit disillusioned with football.
“I gave up a full-time job when I went to Welling and to only get eight games with someone else’s team was very disappointing.
“But this feels like the right opportunity to come back because I am most at home when I am stood on the grass and coaching the players.
“I got a call from Adam and then the chairman Antony Smith followed it up, and I know the club well from previous conversations with Danny Cowley about it.
“Danny will be a tough act to follow, of course, but hopefully I can help Adam go some way to doing that.”
