BEDFORD TOWN have announced former Barton Rovers boss Dan Kennoy as their new manager.
The Eagles had been searching for a new boss following the resignation of Craig Adams last month. He later joined Rugby Town as assistant manager.
The club finished a disappointing 17th last season in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central following relegation from Step 3.
And they have opted for Kennoy, 35, to be the new man in charge. He transformed Barton from relegation fodder to play-off chasers but quit following the 2013-14 season after just missing out on the top five.
At Barton, Kennoy was credited for bringing Keshi Anderson through the system before he earned a dream move to Premier League club Crystal Palace.
