Lincoln City defender Sean Raggett has sealed a dream move to Norwich City after his standout season for the Imps in their National League title-winning year.
Winner of The National Game Awards gong for Young Player of the Year at our event held at Stamford Bridge in May, Raggett has moved on from Sincil Bank to pen a three-year deal with the Canaries.
The 23-year-old talked of the huge draw a club of Norwich’s stature holds, saying: “I’m delighted to be here as it’s a massive move for me.
“Norwich is a huge club and it was a chance I couldn’t turn down. I’ve had a great time at Lincoln and it will be good to go back for the first few months of the season and thank them for what they’ve done for me.”
Joining the Canaries for an undisclosed fee, Raggett will return to the Imps on loan until January to continue his development having only joined from Dover Athletic a little over 12 months ago.
The centre-back made 47 appearances last season for Danny Cowley’s side, scoring the winning goal in the FA Cup fifth round to knock out Premier League opposition Burnley and book a trip the Emirates Stadium in the sixth round draw.
