Glenn Tamplin says he will be speaking to some “experienced names” this week as Billericay begin their search for a new manager.
Harry Wheeler was sacked two weeks ago after the club’s first defeat in 29 games and his departure has now been confirmed with Tamplin unable to persuade him to stay.
National League side Maidstone United have since appointed Wheeler as their new boss.
Meanwhile, Billericay’s head coach Tristan Lewis and sports scientist Craig Lewis have left the club with Tamplin confirming he is meeting several candidates this week.
I will be speaking to some experienced names over the next few days that I promise will fill the void left by Harry Tristan and Craig’s departure.
really pleased for Harry with the Maidstone role and want to say thanks to Tristan and Craig for their time at the club. https://t.co/LuKxG4hYec— Glenn Tamplin (@glenntamplin) September 11, 2018
