Bromley face FA hearing over alleged breach of FA Trophy rules

Bromley will find out their FA Trophy fate next week after being charged with an alleged breach of competition rules following their first round win over Sutton earlier this month.
The Raven’s lost to Brackley in last season’s final at Wembley and their run in the Trophy this time could be cut short depending on the FA’s findings.
The National League club will be attending a personal hearing with football‘s governing body next week.
Bromley beat Sutton 2-1 and set to visit Spennymoor Town on January 12, but this fixture is now in doubt.
A club statement read: “The Club can confirm that it has been charged by the FA with an alleged breach of competition rules in the FA Trophy.
“The formal process is ongoing and the Club will be attending a personal hearing with The FA week commencing 31st December.
“The Club would like to apologise to supporters for the uncertainty this will cause with regards to the next round of the competition and will update supporters with the outcome of the hearing in the New Year.
“The Club will not be making any further comment at this time.”
