Danny Forrest Leaves Guiseley FC

DANNY FORREST has left in search of regular first-team .

The frontman made just one competitive appearance this season and has now been allowed to leave Nethermoor to pursue his career elsewhere.

Speaking about his departure from the Blue Square Bet North club, Forrest said: “I’m gutted to be leaving and I wish the the club the very best in the future.

“All the lads are top notch and the fans are great, I’ll miss them all but I’ll certainly be keeping an eye on their results.

“I just want to play football every Saturday and hopefully this will help me to do that.”

Forrest first joined the Lions on loan in January 2011 before going on to sign for them permanently in the summer of that year.

He went on to make over 30 appearances last term, one of which saw him score straight from a kick-off against Harrogate Railway in the West Riding County Cup.
