BOSTON UNITED captain Gareth Jelleyman has agreed the termination of his contract with the Blue Square Bet North club.
The Welsh defender arrived at The Jakemans Stadium on a permanent deal in 2010 and has since made 122 appearances for the Lincolnshire outfit.
Jelleyman, who includes Peterborough, Mansfield and Barrow among his former clubs, became a father for the second time on Friday morning.
Speaking about Jellleyman’s exit, Pilgrims boss Graham Drury said: “I wish Gareth all the best for the future. He has been a top player for Boston United.
“His partner has had a baby in the last few hours and we wish them all well.”
