GLOUCESTER CITY have secured the loan services of Torquay United centre-back Kirtys MacKenzie.
The 20-year-old defender discovered that he was diabetic this summer and has had to change his lifestyle accordingly.
That has prevented him playing for the Gulls yet this term so he has now been sent to Gloucester for a month to get some matches under his belt.
MacKenzie, who spent a spell on loan at Taunton Town in March 2013, joins the Tigers in time for their Skrill North game at home to Colwyn Bay on Tuesday evening.
