FORWARD Kezie Ibe has left Eastbourne Borough and dropped down a division to join Margate.
The 30-year-old, who includes Canvey Island, Chelmsford, Ebbsfleet and Farnborough among his former clubs, will be hoping he can help fire the Gate to the Ryman Premier Division play-offs and then to promotion into Step 2.
Meanwhile, Eastbourne have cancelled the contract of James Walker by mutual consent.
Issues off the field were set top limit the striker’s availability so both parties decided it was best to terminate his deal at the Dripping Pan.
Commenting on Walker’s departure, Borough boss Tommy Widdrington said: “Family must always come before football.
“We wish him well and good luck, and thank him for his contribution to our season.
“The door is open for James to contact us when the time is right for him.”
