CONFERENCE SOUTH club Eastleigh have bolstered their attack by signing Stuart Fleetwood.
The 27-year-old has proven goalscoring pedigree at Conference level having netted 28 times for Forest Green Rovers in 2007/08 and contributing 21 goals in the last two seasons for Luton Town.
He was released by the Hatters at the end of the 2012/13 campaign and has now dropped down a division to join the Spitfires.
Eastleigh are favourites to take the Conference South title and the arrival of Fleetwood, who started his career at Cardiff City, will certainly improve their chances of securing promotion to Non-League‘s top tier.
The Wales-born frontman took to Twitter to reveal his relief at having things in place for next term, tweeting: “Happy to have signed a one-year deal at Eastleigh today….. #Sorted #Finally”
