WHAT a seven days this has been with a massive 3,020 points up for grabs. In this week’s update we name our March Manager of the Month winners and the clubs in receipt of those 25-point bonuses.
Picking up £100 first prize for March is Pingu FC with 1,809pts. They finished 64 points ahead of secondplaced Ruperts All Stars, who win £50, while Team Wiv No Name just miss out on a cash prize in third, a further 24 points adrift.
Much of this were down to the league leader bonuses at the end of the month, which went to the following: Blue Square Bet Premier – Kidderminster Harriers, Blue Square Bet North – Chester, Blue Square Bet South – Welling Utd, Evo- Stik Northern Premier – North Ferriby United, Ryman Premier – Whitehawk, Evo-Stik Southern Premier – Leamington, The Mixture – Poole Town and Grays Athletic.
April, of course, is a pivotal month in FNL, so, just to remind you, the four teams that make it into the play-offs from each league will be awarded 25 points with a further 25 points on offer for winning the semi-final and final.
Today’s update covers the period from Sunday March 31 through to Saturday April 6. As it stands, the top three teams this week in the April 2013 Manager of the Month are as follows: 1. Ricadi Marthyrs 600pts (1,482nd); 2. Ajaxman DFC 573pts (309th), 3. MicksBritArmy 566pts (658th).
The top five teams who have scored the most points over the past seven days are as follows: 1. YorkieTerriers 705pts (107th); 2 Doxey Rangers 670pts (63rd), 3. Pingu FC 661pts (7th), 4. Ajaxman DFC 648pts (648th), 5. FC Dumbledore 644pts (2nd). The highest scoring club is North Ferriby United with 89 points Bottom team over the last seven days is RoyPaul XIII 194pts (1,619th).
