THE draw for the First Round Proper of The FA Trophy was made at Wembley this lunchtime, with the Vanarama Conference big guns now entering the competition.
Holders Cambridge United will not be defending their crown after promotion to the Football League but Conference leaders Barnet have been handed a tricky trip to Concord Rangers.
Last season’s beaten finalists Gosport Borough, meanwhile, have been drawn away at Basingstoke Town after Saturday’s 3-0 win at Peacehaven & Telscombe.
The 32 First Round clashes will take place on Saturday, December 13, with winning clubs picking up £5,000 from The FA’s prize fund.
