Salford City’s gap at the top of the National League North was cut to six points as the Ammies went down against Chorley while second-placed Harrogate Town comfortably saw off North Ferriby.
In the National League South, an astonishing five clubs share the lead. Dartford take the Christmas No.1 on goal difference but they’re joined on 39 points by Havant & Waterlooville, Chelmsford City, Braintree Town and Hampton & Richmond Borough.
