THE Football Conference and broadcasters BT Sport have announced a Twitter competition where one lucky entrant will win a unique experience at the first televised game of the season – Cambridge United v FC Halifax Town.
The winner and a guest will receive pre-match hospitality at the Abbey along with main stand tickets to the fixture, which takes place on Sunday, August 11.
They will also be given an exclusive tour of the BT Sport backstage production operations and have the opportunity to meet some of the BT Sport staff, including the commentary team.
Ball sponsors Jako are providing two match balls signed by both teams, Surridge Sports have donated two branded bench kit jackets and there will also be two complimentary BT Sport goodie bags for the winner.
The victor will also bag a one-year online subscription to The Non-League Paper and to top it all off, a twin-bedded room and evening meal at the four-star Menzies Hotel in Bar Hill Cambridge on Saturday night (travel costs are not included).
To be in with a chance of winning you will need to follow these three simple steps:
1) Follow @conferencefooty, the official Twitter feed of the Football Conference and be registered as a follower no later than 12 midnight on Friday, August 2.
2) Five followers will then be chosen by random electronic selection on Saturday, August 3, being notified via a Twitter direct message from @conferencefooty, they have progressed to the final stage of the competition.
3) At 12 noon on Sunday, August 4, exactly seven days before kick-off and BT Sport’s first live screening of a Conference Premier game; a question will be posted on the official Football Conference website. From those five selected followers the first one to tweet the correct answer to @conferencefooty will win the fabulous day out and superb prizes.
