CARSHALTON ATHLETIC have parted company with manager Matt Howard following Saturday’s 7-1 defeat at Ramsgate.
The Robins were soundly beaten in Kent to bring an abrupt end to their four game unbeaten run and dropped them to tenth in the Ryman South.
Despite being only four points adrift of the play-off places, the club announced on Thursday morning that Howard had left Colston Avenue.
The former Corinthian-Casuals and Chessington & Hook United boss took charge of Carshalton last May after they finished 20th in Ryman South.
A club statement read: “We have today agreed to part company with Matt Howard. We know that we speak for players, fans and staff in thanking Matt, Luke and his bench staff for their contribution to our club this season.”
