The South West London club have confirmed that Paul Barry and Darren Powell have been placed in charge for the remainder of the season but they are already taking applications for the role of permanent manager.

Garry HaylockAnd Haylock, who was in charge of when they beat Hampton in the Conference South play-offs 2008/09, says he is interested in the position.

Speaking to the Hounslow Chronicle, he said: “I will give the Hampton chairman a call at some stage. I have met him and before and he seems a decent guy.

“This time last year I would have been battering down his door. It looks like a good club, and one of only a handful of jobs I would be interested in.”
