CANVEY ISLAND have signed Arsenal teenager Josh Vickers on loan.
The 19-year-old goalkeeper, who featured 13 times for the Gunners’ Under-18 side last season, joins the Islanders for the entirety of the 2013/14 campaign.
Vickers was an unused substitute in Canvey’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Cray Wanderers on Tuesday night – their second defeat of the Ryman Premier season.
