RYMAN North side Heybridge Swifts have appointed former Tiptree United, Halstead Town and Redbridge boss Jody Brown as their new manager.
The Swifts have been on the lookout since former boss Mark Hawkes left to join Skrill South side Chelmsford City last month.
Brown, who served as Maldon & Tiptree assistant manager last season, has spent 11 years coaching and managing and holds a UEFA qualified coaching badge as well as a sports science degree.
Also a former coach with Norwich City’s academy as well as Colchester United’s youth development, Brown has plenty of experience.
He arrives at Scraley Road with the club sitting in fourth in Ryman North, just four points adrift of leaders VCD Athletic. Interim boss Wayne Bond has reverted back to his director of football role.
