There was a new arrival at Victoria Park today, with young striker Tomi Adeloye signing a deal with National League side Hartlepool United.
The 21-year-old had been training with the club over the past week, and registered a hat-trick in their behind-closed-doors friendly against Bradford City last Tuesday.
His from in that game, and the obvious impression he made in training, has been enough for Pools manager Craig Harrison to pull the trigger on the front-man.
Adeloye came through the academy set-ups at both Charlton Athletic and Millwall, before joining Premier League Stoke City in 2015.
From there he had spells with Macclesfield Town, Dover Atheltic, FC United of Manchester and most recently St Albans.
Adeloye’s signing will have to be approved by both the FA and the National League, but providing their are no issues there he will go straight into Harrison’s squad for the game against Barrow tomorrow night.
He will wear the number 30 shirt at Victoria Park.
