League leaders Kettering Town are absent from the fixture list this evening, presenting King’s Lynn Town and Slough Town with the opportunity to leapfrog the Poppies.
Ian Culverhouse’s side travel to Creasey Park to take on second bottom Dunstable Town, with the Linnets surely confident of being at the summit by play’s end.
Slough, on the other hand, are in more familiar surroundings but against more demanding opponents – they welcome eighth place Tiverton Town to Arbour Park.
King’s Lynn are behind Kettering on goal difference only, so for them any result bar a defeat sees them top. The Rebels, though, need the aforementioned Linnets to unexpectedly stumble against Tony McCool’s men for them to call themselves league leaders.
Bottom side Gosport Borough continue to search for their first win of the season, they face mid-table Banbury United at Privett Park. Meanwhile, fellow strugglers St Ives Town take on Bishop’s Stortford this evening.
Fourth place Hereford could also conceivably climb to the top of the table tonight, they’re two points behind Kettering and face mid-table Farnborough at Edgar Street.
There’s also Chesham United against St Neots Town, Kings Langley facing Dorchester Town and Weymouth welcoming Merthyr Town to the Bob Lucas Stadium.
