Evesham United loanee Ethan Moore will return to parent club and National League South side Gloucester City FC next week, according to Gloucestershire Live.
The exciting striker, 24, came through the ranks at Championship club Aston Villa, and made his return from a long-term knee injury at the start of this season, joining Evesham as part of his rehabilitation.
He opened his account for the club last night (Wednesday), but couldn’t prevent the Evo-Stik South West side from losing 3-1 at home to Kidlington as their promotion push was handed a blow.
Moore will be available for Evesham in their clash against Mangotsfield United at the Jubilee Stadium on Saturday, and against Yate Town a week later, before heading back to City.
With back-to-back home games on the horizon, Paul Collicutt will be hoping his side can bounce back from yesterday’s disappointing defeat, but the boss has a a trio of new injury worries ahead of the weekend’s game.
Lewis Binns (shoulder), skipper Linden Dovey (hamstring) and Jordan Bryan (dead leg) are all doubtful to face Mangotsfield, although Bryan was brought off at half-time against Kidlington so could make the squad.
United currently lie sixth in the Evo-Stik South West league, nine points off leaders Taunton Town.
