National League South club Concord Rangers have appointed Sammy Moore as their new manager, with Jack Midson arriving at Thames Road as his assistant.
Moore and Midson left Bostik Premier Club Leatherhead this morning after guiding The Tanners to within touching distance of the play-off positions this season.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Concord Chairman Antony Smith said: “I am pleased to have come to an agreement with Sammy & Jack they are both young and hungry to succeed, they both have fantastic experience and knowledge of our level and above.
“On speaking to them both, it very quickly became apparent that I was sitting with the new Management that will embark on a new era for the Club. The few people that have been involved in the appointments are already talking and putting plans in place for some exciting new projects within the Club, this is the lift and in vigor that we need at Concord Rangers”
Moore arrives in the hot seat at Thames Road following Adam Flanagan’s resignation after three years in charge of the Beach Boys.
Flanagan guided Concord Rangers to a 17th-place finish in the National League South this season, which was one place better than their performance last campaign.
