National League South side Truro City have confirmed that winger Niall Thompson has put pen to paper on a new contract with the Cornish club.
The 24-year-old has been with Truro since 2016 and has gone on to feature over 50 times for the club.
Thompson began his career at Torquay United and signed a professional deal with at Plainmoore at the beginning of the 2012-13 season.
The midfielder made 18 appearances for the Gulls over a three year period and spent loan spells with Worcester City, Weymouth and Bideford.
Speaking to Truro’s official club website, Thompson said, “I am pleased that everything is sorted and I can focus on the new season.
“We did really well last season and the aim is to build upon that.
“There is a good club to be at; there’s a tremendous spirit amongst the players and our fans are some of the most loyal around.”
