Dexter Walters has become the latest Non-League player to secure a move to the Football League after he signed a two-year deal with League One club Coventry City.
The 19-year-old signed for Tamworth last summer after impressing during a spell with Romulus.
Although Walters found himself on the fringes of the Tamworth first-team throughout much of last season, he has had a hugely impressive pre-season and found the net whilst representing the Coventry U23’s in a recent friendly against Sphinx .
It is believed that Walters will link up with the Coventry’s U23 side at first as he attempts to break into the first team picture at the Ricoh Arena.
