KIDDERMINSTER HARRIERS will pay Hednesford Town an initial ?5,000 fee for the services of Cheyenne Dunkley.

The defender joined the Harriers earlier this summer but the two clubs could not come to an agreement regarding the compensation fee for the 20-year-old.

At a tribunal on Thursday, The FA ruled that Harriers must pay the Pitmen ?5,000 now, another ?1,000 when he reaches ten first-team appearances and a further ?1,000 after 20 appearances.

Hednesford will also retain a 30 per cent sell-on clause should the youngster be sold on in the future.

Commenting on The FA’s decision, Harriers chairman Mark Serrell told the club’s website: “I think the outcome is a satisfactory one for us as a football club, the ruling reflects quite closely on our own valuation of the player at this point in time.”
