FOUR players have made the shortlist for the latest Player of the Round award.

Blue Square Bet Premier outfit sprung a shock by beating Swindon Town 2-0 away from home.

Tony Diagne opened the scoring with a thundering free-kick from distance and that inspirational effort has put him in with a chance of landing the Player of the Round accolade.

The final nominee is Donovan Simmonds of .

Simmonds scored once in each half to put the Clarets 2-0 up against League One side Colchester United before the U’s hit back through Michael Rose.

But Jamie Slabber added a third for the Clarets to set up a Second Round tie away at Crawley Town.
