Tranmere Rovers winger Ben Tollitt joins Wrexham on loan

have signed winger Ben Tollitt on an initial short-term loan deal from League Two side Tranmere Rovers.
The 24-year-old was plucked out of by Portsmouth during the summer of 2015 after some impressive first team displays at and .
A Merseyside native, Tollitt graduated from the Everton youth system in 2013 before Pompey loaned him to Tranmere in 2016.
After impressing ‘the Whites’ manager Mickey Mellon, he made the deal permanent later in the season but struggled with injury as the club won promotion to the League.
He will not be available for tomorrow’s game at , but subject to pending international clearance, he should be available for selection in time for the Boxing Day visit of Salford City.
Manager Graham commented: “Ben has become available and I was very keen to get the deal done. He won’t be able to play against Aldershot tomorrow but the clearance will be through in time for the Christmas games.
“Ben is an exciting young player, a real pacey wide attacker. I have watched him many times over the past few years and he gets you off your seat.”
