Boreham Wood have signed prolific Haringey Borough striker Ralston Gabriel.
The 27-year-old was a revelation at St Albans City earlier in the season, scoring 12 goals in all competitions before returning to Haringey in December.
Since then he has netted a further 13 times, taking his tally up to 25 in all competitions.
Gabriel bagged 21 league goal for Borough in their promotion-winning campaign last season before joining St Albans.
On his move to National League Boreham Wood, he said: “I am very happy to be honest with you, it is a great opportunity to go and prove myself and show everyone what I can do.
“I have known Luke Garrard for a while and it has been positive vibes all the way through.
“I know that he has been monitoring my progress and I just felt that it was the right time for me to come here and show what I can do.
“I think that my strengths would be my speed, my ability to get in behind defenders, and scoring goals. My record has been very good so far and I have just got to keep it going now at Boreham Wood.”
Luke Garrard added: “He has got a pedigree in the Ryman Premier League that stacks up against the best and he continued that form during his time with St Albans, where he scored 12 times – four in one game.
“He is coming here with a knack of scoring goals and we have got a great platform for him. There is a fantastic infrastructure here and an environment that will hopefully allow him to flourish.
“I have known him for a while and I know his character, because his brother Ricky came through our academy system.
“He has all the tools to succeed here, so let’s hope that he progresses with us, delivers on a match day, and scores us some much-needed goals.”
