York City boss Steve Watson has moved into the transfer market again this summer to sign Andy Bond from National League side AFC Fylde.
The 33-year-old boasts a wealth of experience having made over 100 appearances in League One for Colchester United and also playing for a range of other Football League clubs including Crewe Alexandra, Bristol Rovers, Stevenage, and Crawley Town.
The attacking midfielder came through the ranks at Crewe Alexandra, eventually moving on to Barrow after his release from the Cheshire club in 2006.
A string of impressive performances for the Bluebirds led to a move to the Football League with Colchester, where he spent four years, before enjoying spells with Chester, Stevenage, Chorley, and Crawley.
Bond joined his most recent side AFC Fylde in he summer of 2016 and played an important role in the Coasters’ run to the National League play-off final last season.
