National League South side Dulwich Hamlet have raided their divisional rivals Welling United to sign midfielder David Ijaha.
Ijaha made 35 appearances for Welling last season and joins up with the club in time for the first week of pre-season friendlies.
An apprentice at Chelsea, Ijaha then moved on to Wolverhampton Wanderers to finish his youth development. Subsequently he has spent time at Harrow Borough, St Albans City, Tonbridge Angels, Hayes and Yeading and Whitehawk.
Following a season in the Football League at Plymouth Argyle, Ijaha joined Wealdstone and then Whitehawk before signing for Welling.
Dulwich finished up in 14th place at Step 2 last year – you can aim for the top with this promo code for betting – while Ijaha’s Welling came heartbreakingly close to promotion to the National League, losing to Woking in the play-off final.
