There’s a full fixture list in the Evo-Stik Premier Division tonight, with Warrington Town looking to keep their place at the summit intact as they welcome mid-table Stafford Rangers, who lost heavily on Saturday, to Cantilever Park.
Second placed Stourbridge are not in action after they beat Buxton on Monday evening, so Grantham Town, who are third, will be hoping to topple The Wire and go top when they travel to fellow promotion hopefuls Farsley Celtic.
It is so tight at the top, with Witton Albion and Shaw Lane both level on points with Adam Stevens’ side. Witton could go top with a win at struggling Halesowen Town, while The Ducks could also lead the way if they win at Whitby Town.
With a game in hand, Lancaster City could find themselves in the play-offs by end of play tonight – if results go their way – but Ashton United, in 15th, will be fresh from no game at the weekend and ready to fire themselves up the table.
Altrincham also have promotion aspirations, but face a tricky trip to lowly Workington, Nantwich will hope to build on their big weekend by beating Marine at home and Coaville Town host Hednesford Town, who are two places below them.
Mickleover Sports have had an inconsistent start to the campaign and travel to Matlock Town, who lost on home soil to Whitby Town on Saturday, and in a big battle at the bottom, Rushall Olympic host fellow strugglers Sutton Coldfield Town.
