Evo-Stik Northern Premier League club Marine have announced the appointment of Neil Young as their new First Team Manager.
The 43-year-old arrives at the Marine Travel Arena with an impressive managerial pedigree, having won three consecutive League Championships at Chester FC between the years 2010 and 2013.
As manager of Chester, Young guided the club to the NPL North, NPL Premier and Conference North titles in consecutive seasons, breaking a host of records on the way.
The new Marine boss has also had spells as Manager at Stockport County and Altrincham and more recently was Head of Scouting at FC Halifax Town with a spell also as caretaker manager until February 2018.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Young said, “I’m really happy to be given the opportunity to manage Marine Football Club. There is great potential here and recent results, in particular Tuesday night’s win in the FA Cup at Scarborough show the players are determined to improve results and move up the table. I am really looking forward to the challenge ahead.”
