Warrington Town

WARRINGTON TOWN have re-signed the man who topped their goalscoring charts in 2009/10 – striker Chris Gahgan.

The 28-year-old forward bagged 33 goals that season, which was the second of his three campaigns at Cantilever Park.

He left the Yellows to sign for Witton Albion ahead of the 2011/12 season, one which ended in promotion from Northern Premier League Division One North via the play-offs.

Gahgan, who has also played for Northwich Victoria and Bradford Park Avenue, then took a year out of football but is now back and raring to get his second spell with Warrington underway.

Speaking to the club’s website, he said: “It is great to be back and I am made up.

“I have had a season out of the game but feel in great shape and I am looking forward to a fresh challenge.

“I can’t wait for the season to start and look forward to scoring in front of the Warrington fans again.”
