ALTRINCHAM earned a respectable draw in their pre-season friendly against Wigan last night – but the biggest talking point was certainly not the final result!
Bill McKay, a Northern Ireland international, opened the scoring for the League One Latics before Michael Rankine equalised in the 37th minute.
However, one youngster stole the show when he made his way down the sideline before running onto the pitch and taking a Wigan corner.
As you can see below, the visitors’ James Tavernier wasn’t best pleased. Tavernier would then go on to miss a penalty – not the best of nights for him!
