BT SPORT have announced the first two Vanarama National League fixtures of the new season that will be screened live on TV.
On Monday, August 31, new boys Cheltenham Town welcome Wrexham to Whaddon Road and the BT Sport cameras will be in attendance for the 5.30pm Bank Holiday kick-off.
Both clubs will be hoping for positive campaigns with Robins boss Gary Johnson and Wrexham’s Gary Mills both recruiting heavily.
Later that week, Tranmere Rovers get their first taste of televised Non-League action as they face the long trip south to face Welling United.
Tranmere will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Bristol Rovers and earn promotion straight back to the Football League under new boss Gary Brabin.
Loui Fazakerley managed to keep the Wings in Non-League’s top flight last term and will be trying to ensure there is no such drama next season.
The game on Saturday, September 5 at Welling’s Park View Road kicks off at 12.30pm.
