BOREHAM WOOD have added midfielder Clovis Kamdjo and striker Zane Banton both on loan ahead of Tuesday night’s game at Torquay United.
Kamdjo, 24, joins fourth bottom Wood from Vanarama National League leaders Forest Green Rovers on an initial 93-day loan.
He played 35 times for Rovers last term after turning out for Barnet and Salisbury but he has only made four substitute appearances for Ady Pennock’s men so far this season.
Wood boss Ian Allinson said: “We welcome Clovis to the club and I know he will be a big signing for us. He can play in a number of positions but I know exactly where he will benefit us most.
“I’ve brought him here to play and add strength to the side. With our new day time training programme already in place, I’m sure Clovis will settle in quickly and become a firm player and fans’ favourite.”
Also joining on loan for a month is speedy forward Banton from 2013-14 Conference champions Luton Town.
The 19-year-old has only made two appearances for the Hatters but spent two spells on loan at Hemel Hempstead Town last season.
“I saw a fair bit of Zane last season out on loan and he is developing nicely,” Allinson said. “He will add options to my squad as he is different to what I’ve got and I’m sure he’ll settle in very quickly.”
