VIDEO: Guiseley’s Oliver Norburn’s long-range beauty

OLIVER NORBURN popped up with a potential goal of the season contender as beat fellow new boys on Saturday.

The former Plymouth Argyle midfielder signed for the Lions in November and has already made a big impact – scoring the first in the 2-0 win against Mark Goldberg’s men.

The 23-year-old found himself in a yard of space and he unleashed a sweetly struck effort that arrowed into the top left-hand corner, well out of the reach of Bromley keeper Chris Kettings.

Guiseley boss Mark Bower told the Telegraph & Argus: “Sides at this level are always capable of producing that one flash of inspiration or brilliance and it could have come – like Oli’s goal that flew in from 25 yards, while he’d had one earlier that hit the bar.

“But Oli has that in his game – he’s able to do something out of the ordinary – and it is players like that who make all the difference.”

Is it one of the goals of the season already? Judge for yourself below. (Video courtesy of @btsportfootball)
