STRIKER Kyle Perry drew a blank on his Hereford United debut in the Bulls’ 0-0 draw with Braintree Town on Saturday.
The 26-year-old joined Martin Foyle’s side on a one-month loan deal from Nuneaton Town ahead of the Non-League Day fixture and featured as a 56th-minute substitute, replacing Phil Marsh.
However, the former Port Vale, Mansfield, Tamworth and Lincoln man was unable to find a way past a resolute Iron defence and the Bulls had to make do with a share of the spoils.
The point leaves Hereford 14th in the Blue Square Bet Premier – four points above the relegation zone and already eight points adrift of the play-off places.
Their next fixture comes away at FC United of Manchester in the FA Cup this weekend – a game in which Perry has been given permission to play in – seven days before they return to league action against 15th-placed Southport.
