GATESHEAD have completed the emergency loan signing of York City midfielder Lee Bullock.
The 31-year-old joins the Heed on a one-month deal as cover for Jamie Chandler, who could be out for up to six weeks after damaging ankle ligaments against Alfreton in the FA Cup last weekend.
Bullock has a wealth of Football League experience having made over 170 appearances for York between 1998 and 2004.
He went on to represent Cardiff, Hartlepool and Bradford City – who he played for 115 times – prior to rejoined York earlier this year.
However, he has found first-team opportunities limited following his return to Bootham Crescent and has now dropped down a division to get some game time under his belt with the Heed.
Meanwhile, Gateshead paid James Marwood and Glenn Wilson have been made available for loan.
